In this chapter the focus is on dominant chords both straight dominant and dominant sus chords. Mixolydian, Lydian b7  are the prominant scale drawn from for the melodic examples.

Chapter four focuses on altered dominant chords drawing triads from Super Locrian, Phrygian Major and Half-Whole Diminished scale. Gambale shows you how to turn normally dissonant chords into melodic opportunities.
